In addition to the Board members, a dedicated group of volunteer community members is currently being sought! This group will gather and evaluate all bids and proposals, obtain options for financing and funding, and present information to all property owners.
The expectation is that the Bridge Committee will meet with the Improvement District board on a regular basis. The expectation is that the committee will meet with or communicate with property owners at least once per quarter, providing updates on the Rock Creek Road bridge project.
The Rock Creek Road bridge will need replaced in the near future. The River Road bridge was replaced in 2025. This committee is tasked with researching all available options for both building materials and funding. They will work closely with the board to determine the absolute best ways to proceed.
